Two step verification has been introduced to help protect your personal health information. It adds an extra layer of security to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
Why is this important now?
New Zealand recorded 5,064 cyber incidents in 2025. This step is part of strengthening protection for patient information and supporting safe care.
Is my information safe?
Manage My Health has taken steps to strengthen security and continues to monitor and improve its systems. Two step verification is one of those measures to help protect your account.
Will this make logging in harder?
It adds one extra step, which may take a little more time. This step is designed to help keep your information secure. Most people find it becomes familiar quickly.
What if I do not receive the code?
Please check your email inbox and junk folder. If you still cannot find the code, you can try again or contact [email protected]
What if I am not confident with technology?
You are not expected to do this alone. You can also ask a family member or friend to assist, or contact [email protected]
